This document describes the technologies that enable this Application to achieve the purposes indicated below. These technologies allow the Owner to collect and store information (e.g., through the use of Cookies) or to use resources (e.g., running a script) on the User’s device when the User interacts with this Application.
For simplicity, in this document these technologies are collectively referred to as “Tracking Tools”. The term “Cookies” is used to specifically indicate that particular type of Tracking Tool that requires a browser.
Some of the purposes for which Tracking Tools are used require the User’s consent. If consent is provided, it can be withdrawn at any time by following the instructions below.
This Application uses both first-party Tracking Tools (managed directly by the Owner) and third-party Tracking Tools (which enable services provided by third parties). Unless otherwise specified, such third parties have access to their respective Tracking Tools. The duration and expiry of Cookies and other Tracking Tools may vary depending on the settings of the Owner or the third-party provider. Some expire at the end of the User’s browsing session.
In addition to the information provided in each section below, Users can obtain up-to-date details on duration and other relevant aspects (e.g., the presence of additional Tracking Tools) by consulting the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers or by contacting the Owner.
Activities strictly necessary for the operation of the site and the provision of the Service
This Application uses “technical” Cookies and/or other Tracking Tools to perform activities that are strictly necessary to ensure the operation of the site or to provide functions requested by the User. The following fall into this category, among others:
TheFork booking widget (La Fourchette SAS) – sets technical cookies on the widget.thefork.com domain (e.g., session identifiers and stability tests) and, for secure transactions, cookies from the payment provider Stripe (m.stripe.network). Such cookies are necessary for the operation of the booking/payment service requested by the User.
Readabler – Accessibility features – activates and stores accessibility settings (read-aloud, high contrast, text size). Sets the readabler cookie on the site’s domain to remember the User’s preferences. This is considered a necessary cookie as it ensures the site’s accessibility for users with disabilities.
Cookiebot by Usercentrics – manages the banner and stores the User’s consent choices. Non-essential cookies are installed only after consent.
Wordfence – Security (Defiant Inc.) – protects the site against attacks and abuse; may set technical cookies and process IP addresses for security purposes. Policy: link.
